We’re married!
I’m so sorry everyone! I don’t mean to go so long but life keeps happening. The important news would of course be that we are married! Pictures can be found here, and hopefully that will tide you over for now.
Engagement Photos Part 2
Yesterday Jordan and I went to the park where we spent part of our first date. We met up with our fantastic photographer, Liz, for a wonderful shoot. She got some really good posed pictures as well as some shots that really capture who we are as a couple. It makes me even more excited for the wedding (if that’s even possible at this point).
Engagement Photos
Jordan and I have been going back and forth on the idea of engagement photos. Do we have the wedding photographer do them? Do we find someone else? Do we skip them altogether? What about having a shorter session?
If I didn’t love a good excuse to get pictures of the two of us I’d say we can just wait for the wedding photos. I do love an excuse to have our pictures taken though! The other thing is that we need a picture for the engagement announcement Jordan’s mom wants to put in the local paper.
Pictures aren’t cheap but the memories they contain can be more than worth the price. That’s why it’s one of the things we’re willing to spend more on for the wedding, but how many photos do we really need?
Feeling Good
The paper for our invitations arrived. We signed the contract with our photographer. Yesterday I took my dress to be altered and one of my bridesmaids started the ordering of their dresses. Right now I’m wearing my wedding shoes to break them in a bit. 
All in all I think things are coming along nicely (until I start thinking about the things I haven’t done yet – like find an officiant). There may still be a ton of planning to do but I’m feeling like I have a (loose) handle on it right now.
