This weekend my sister is in town and we’re going to get some wedding planning done. Well, that was the plan. At this point I think looking at bridesmaid dresses will be about all we really do, but I remain hopeful.
Somewhat related, my dress is sitting in my own closet and yet remains difficult to access. Why you ask? Because I broke the zipper on the bag and I haven’t had time to fix it yet. Ah well, at least it’ll make peeking more difficult for Jordan.

On Christmas night my boyfriend of nearly five years proposed. We decided on a late summer/early fall wedding in 2009, but the specific date was dependent on what was available in the Iowa City area. Well we’ve finally found our venues and the date is set! August 29, 2009 I will be a married woman.
Now that we have the locations and date set I’m feeling a lot more relaxed about things. It also means we can start working on some of the more fun things like cake tasting.
