And Then There Was One

Last Monday my father passed away, which means there will not be a second wedding. On the bright side this means I no longer have to quickly plan a second wedding, regardless of how simple.

In other news, my dress alterations should be done when I pick up my dress Friday and Jordan and I had too much cake today (and there’s more in the fridge!). I have two tiaras and one necklace to try on with my dress. Starting next week I will hopefully have a little more time for wedding planning, so look for more posts in the near future!

Feeling Good

The paper for our invitations arrived. We signed the contract with our photographer. Yesterday I took my dress to be altered and one of my bridesmaids started the ordering of their dresses. Right now I’m wearing my wedding shoes to break them in a bit. :-)

All in all I think things are coming along nicely (until I start thinking about the things I haven’t done yet – like find an officiant). There may still be a ton of planning to do but I’m feeling like I have a (loose) handle on it right now.
